The legal bases legitimising the processing are:

  • Contractual relationship: when you contract any of our services, make a booking, or request to join and participate in SALT Club.
  • Compliance with legal obligations: invoicing, communication to law enforcement authorities, and tax and commercial obligations.
  • Legitimate interest: handling queries, ensuring security, managing complaints, improving our services and preventing improper or fraudulent use of the loyalty programme.

In principle, CASUS CAPITAL, S.L. does not carry out international
transfers of data.
Exception: the use of WhatsApp Business, a service provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., with servers located outside the European Economic Area. The Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission apply. The use of this channel is voluntary and email or telephone contact is always available as an alternative.

6. Storage: How Long Will We Keep Your Data?

Personal data will only be kept for as long as necessary for the purposes of the processing, taking into account:

  • Queries: up to 12 months after the last communication.
  • Customer and booking data: for the duration of the contractual relationship and for 6 additional years for tax/commercial obligations.
  • Data associated with SALT Club: for as long as the user remains registered in the programme and, subsequently, for as long as necessary to address possible legal or contractual liabilities.
  • Commercial communications/newsletter: until consent is withdrawn.
  • CVs: up to 1 year from receipt, unless consent is renewed.
  • Images/videos: until consent is withdrawn or the campaign ends.

Once the relevant period has elapsed, the data will be blocked in order to deal with possible legal liabilities and will only be accessible to judges, courts or administrative authorities.

7. Security: How Do We Protect Your Data?

CASUS CAPITAL, S.L. applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data and to prevent its alteration, loss or unauthorised access.
Our staff and providers follow strict privacy rules, and we contractually require third parties to comply with these measures and allow us to audit such compliance.
However, the user is responsible for the use made of their own data and credentials (username and password).
