GENERAL CONTRACTING CONDITIONS

The purpose of this document is to regulate the General Terms and Conditions of Contracting the online accommodation booking services offered through the website www.salt-apartments.com, owned by CASUS CAPITAL, S.L., a Spanish company with CIF B70824750 and registered office at Calle San Nicolás 16, floor 5, door 2, 35002 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Las Palmas, Spain (hereinafter, “Salt Apartments”).

Accessing and using the booking engine implies full and unconditional acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Contracting, as well as the specific conditions that may apply to each selected rate or offer.

1. Capacity to Contract

The User declares to be of legal age and have sufficient legal capacity to be bound by these Conditions. Otherwise, the responsibility will lie with parents, guardians or legal representatives.

2. Purpose

The online booking service aims to contract stays in the accommodations of Salt Apartments.

When making a reservation, the User accepts these General Terms and Conditions and the specific conditions (price, board basis, cancellation and payment policies, etc.) displayed on the screen during the booking process.

3. Booking Process

  • The User will select the dates, number of guests, board basis, and rate.
  • The system will show the available options, with the total price of the stay, taxes included (IGIC or other applicable taxes).
  • The User must provide identifying and contact information, as well as a credit card for guarantee or payment, depending on the selected rate.
  • Once the reservation is completed, the User will receive a confirmation email with the details of the reservation and a locator number, which serves as proof of contracting.
  • The User may also receive an email inviting them to complete an online pre-check-in.

4. Cancellation and Payment Policies

Cancellation and payment policies may vary depending on the selected rate and will be expressly shown before finalizing the reservation. Currently, the following modalities apply:

Non-Refundable Rate:

  • Payment: 100% prepayment upon confirming the reservation.
  • Cancellation: no refunds are allowed. In case of cancellation, early check-out, or no-show, 100% of the stay will be charged.

Flexible 24h – Refundable Rate:

  • Payment: the customer pays the amount at the establishment upon arrival. The card is only used as a guarantee.
  • Cancellation: can be done free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival (11:00 am the previous day). Later cancellations, early departures, or no-shows will result in a charge for the first night.

Advanced Booking Rates (“Planner Traveler” or other special offers):

  • Payment: may require total or partial prepayment as indicated in the booking process.
  • Cancellation: may be non-refundable or subject to specific conditions shown at the time of contracting.

Other offers and promotions (e.g. discounts for mobile devices, Canary resident, loyalty club, Black Friday campaigns, etc.) will be governed by the specific conditions indicated in each case.

In all cases, the provided card may be verified or pre-authorized to confirm its validity and funds.

5. Prices

The prices shown on the website include applicable indirect taxes (IGIC or others), unless otherwise indicated. There may be local tourist taxes to be paid directly at the establishment.

In case of a manifest error in the published price (e.g. due to technical or human error), Salt Apartments may cancel the reservation by informing the User and refunding the amounts charged, without entitling to additional compensation.

6. No-Show and Early Departures

No-shows will be penalized according to the contracted rate policy. Early departures will be treated the same as a late cancellation.

7. Use of Services

The User agrees to use the services in accordance with the law, morals, and public order, refraining from illicit uses or those that may damage the image of Salt Apartments or the rights of third parties.

8. Modification of Conditions

Salt Apartments reserves the right to unilaterally modify, at any time and without prior notice, these General Terms and Conditions and/or the specific conditions of the rates, as long as they are published on the website and do not affect already confirmed reservations.

9. Safeguard

If any clause of these Conditions is declared null or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain valid.

10. Applicable Legislation and Jurisdiction

These Conditions are governed by Spanish law.

If the User acts as a consumer, the courts and tribunals of their domicile will be competent.

In other cases, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
